Shine a light through the electrode tube/chlorine cell; if white deposits have built up, it is time for cleaning.
Remove the cell, place the cell in a tub/bucket, after which salt generator cleaner is poured into the cell. Until all cell plates are covered.
Do not get salt generator cleaner into the connectors where the cables are connected.
When the cell is clean, rinse it and install it on the system, run water through it and start it up after 5 minutes.
In case of heavy scaling, it may need salt generator cleaner several times.
